Parramatta Park is a beautiful spot for wedding ceremonies, offering scenic outdoor venues with lush gardens, historic buildings and open green spaces. The park has a range of picturesque options to make your special day memorable.

All locations cater up to groups up 50 people (including adults and children). 

Dairy Cottage Garden

The Dairy Cottage gardens wrap around the Dairy and Rangers Cottages. The Dairy Cottage is one of Australia’s oldest surviving colonial buildings and offers a glimpse back into Australia’s recent past. The gardens feature lawns, sandstone paths, a majestic fig tree, elegant jacaranda trees and many unique historical features as the backdrop to a timeless wedding ceremony. The garden offers parking and toilets facilities nearby.

Government Farm.

Government Farm

This serene area of the park offers grassy riverbanks dotted with well-established trees and showcases distinctive landscape features like the interpretive jetty, Dodds Farm garden and a quaint footbridge that connects the area with the rest of the park. The area makes an ideal location for a uniquely Australian wedding ceremony, celebrating the park’s rich heritage and natural beauty. The area is located off O’Connell Street with ample parking located nearby. 

Rumsey Rose Garden

A central lawn surrounded by lush garden beds with paved paths leading you to arbours draped with fragrant heritage roses makes the Rumsey Rose Garden the ideal location for a romantic wedding ceremony. The garden hosts one of the largest collections of heritage roses in NSW with the best flowering display occurring annually in October / November and May. The garden is located near the Macquarie Street Gatehouse.

The Bath House.

The Bath House

Originally built as a bath house in 1822 for Governor Brisbane the site was converted to a pavilion in 1886. The Bath House has intricate exposed timber work within the internal roof structure and large sandstone paving under foot. The circular structure offers guests the opportunity to encircle the happy couple and watch the ceremony through one of the many arches. The site is a one-of-a-kind venue for an intimate wedding ceremony. The site is located near the Macquarie Street Gatehouse, Old Government House and offers parking and toilets facilities nearby.
