A Parliamentary Committee is reviewing the Greater Sydney Parklands Trust Act (GSPT Act), which establishes the Greater Sydney Parklands Trust. The Trust manages the parklands estate, which includes Centennial Parklands, Parramatta Park, Western Sydney Parklands, Callan Park and the Fernhill Estate. The Committee will look at whether the policy objectives of the GSPT Act are valid, and whether its terms are appropriate for securing its objectives. Submissions to the Joint Select Committee close on 31 January 2025.
